Coconut Grove

Coconut Grove, Florida was formed in 1925 when the city of Miami annexed two areas of about equal size, the city of Coconut Grove and most of the town of Silver Bluff. Ocean Reef

Ocean Reef’s, Key Largo Florida roots date back to 1945, when Minnesota real estate developer Morris Baker created a fishing camp and small lodge on the site. By 1969, the acreage had expanded, and ownership was transferred to Harper Sibley Jr. and his partner Morris Burke, who founded the Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo Florida.
